Chuck French and his son, C.J. French, are the core members The French Connection Band,  located in Knoxville, Tennessee.  We are a Father and Son group playing all of your favorite classic, alternative, and southern rock music.  We both play guitar, percussion, miscellaneous accompaniments, and perform vocals. We are joined by Chris Jones on bass and vocals, and Peter Smith on drums, percussion and vocals, for our full band performances.  Chuck also plays solo gigs.

With a playlist covering over 250 well known songs, mixed with a handful of original music or other interpreted cover versions, we offer a versatile mix of music that can be tailored for many different types of occasions.  From the Allman Brothers to ZZ Top, and everyone in between, we deliver the songs you want to hear, sing, and dance to.

We book out as a solo (guitar and vocals), or two person gig with bongos and small percussion for smaller engagements.  For larger engagements, our band adds full kit drummer/vocalist, a bass guitar/vocalist, and sometimes saxophone. 

The French Connection Band has appeared most frequently at Tennessee Tap House, Finn's Pub at Cedar Bluff,  Avalon Golf and Country Club, Ironworks Grille in Tellico Plains, and at a variety of private events.  We were regulars at  Willie's Bar and Grill at Choto Marina (miss that place).  Our private performances include private parties, office events, birthdays, engagements, holidays, weddings, sporting events, tailgaters, or just plain old good time parties.

We are capable of providing all equipment, including PA, amplifiers, percussion, drum kit, etc.  We can also use your existing PA or other equipment.
